Crossing back over the inner ring road we head for the Jewellery Quarter, and pass by perhaps the most atmospheric example of the Euphoria Underground. Viewed from over a wall in Livery Street, as in our photograph, we may glimpse the Dark Side of the city's canalside development, a troglodyte zone, invisible on any "official" tourist map.
