Here in Catalonia, yesterday was all national flags, overpriced roses and books about shadows and wind (still). Apparently half the yearly book sales take place on st. jordi. I lost count of the number of incredulous catalan youth yesterday who refused to believe that st. jordi was moonlighting as another nation&#039;s saint.  Like Canneloni and snails, they like to think of him as &#039;nomes per nosaltres&#039;. Bless &#039;em.</description>
